OV is a Mexican folk artist whose paintings depict folk culture symbols. OV addresses the topics of heritage & belonging within an established cultural framework.
My creative vision is inspired by cultural interplay, blending Symbolic and Folk Art styles to imbue layers of metaphorical and cultural meaning, evoking immediate emotional responses. In addition to my visual art, I also engage as a performer in storytelling, expressed through contemporary circus arts and theatre.
