In 2004, Martin joined the Missouri Artisans Association as a “juried artist member.” Although he suffers from Myophosphorylase Deficiency, or “McArdle’s Syndrome,” a rare genetic muscular disorder, he does not allow the disorder to keep him from capturing and sharing the beauty of nature.
